01 / Recruiting foundation

A hiring process your team can use.

For $3,000, I help one team build a shared hiring process, from approving a role through making an offer and handing off to onboarding. Recruiting candidates is a separate service.

Understand and design

In up to three 45-minute meetings, including kickoff, we review your current hiring process and priorities. I document the steps, who owns them, and up to four interview stages, including a recruiter screen if used.

Build the materials

I create up to two role briefs, two interview guides, two scorecards, five candidate email templates, and one hiring tracker. I also complete any specifically agreed basic tasks in your existing applicant tracking system (ATS).

Review and hand over

We walk through a fictional hire to test the process. I make one round of agreed revisions from combined feedback, then provide an editable guide and a separate 60-minute handover.

The 4–6-week timeline is an estimate, beginning once agreed information and access are ready. Progress also depends on timely feedback. The fixed price covers the agreed deliverables, not a set number of weekly hours.

02 / Contract recruiting core

Hands-on help for one opening.

For $4,500 per full calendar month, I provide up to 40 hours of recruiting support for one opening. This covers one job profile, one person to hire, and up to one new search started that month.

  1. Plan the search

Agree on the role, approved pay range, interview plan, and how we’ll find candidates.

  2. Find and screen candidates

Source and contact potential candidates, review applications, and conduct initial recruiter screens.

  3. Keep the process moving

Coordinate interviews, collect feedback, update candidates and the ATS, and support offers using your approved terms. A weekly update and 30-minute hiring-manager call are included.

All work counts toward the monthly hours, including meetings, preparation, coordination, and updates. Hours are shared across the month; a set number of hours each week is not included. A hire or fill date is not guaranteed, and there is no additional placement fee.

03 / Recruiting expansion

Need help with two searches?

For $6,500 total per full calendar month, get up to 60 hours shared across up to two active searches, with up to two new searches started during the month.

Shared capacity
Compared with the core package, $2,000 more adds up to 20 hours and a second search. The 60 hours are shared across both roles, and we agree on priorities.
Check the fit first
Some specialized or high-volume searches need a different scope. We confirm the roles, available tools, and my capacity before committing.
Additional work
Work outside the agreed scope can be quoted at a fixed price or $125 per hour with an agreed maximum fee. I’ll get written approval before starting.

Working together

What I need from your team.

Here’s what helps us get started and keep the work moving.

  • An owner for decisions and access to existing hiring materials.
  • Approval to hire, role requirements, and pay range.
  • Time for stakeholder conversations, interviews, and feedback.
  • Access to agreed tools. Your company provides and pays for approved recruiting tools and advertising unless otherwise agreed.
  • Your team makes final hiring and offer decisions and handles employment documents and employee onboarding.

Questions

A few details worth knowing.

What is a role profile?

It is a brief describing a type of job: its responsibilities, level, location, and approved pay range. Two openings for the same job still mean two people to hire.

Can two roles share one hiring process?

Yes. An engineering intern and a senior engineer could follow the same interview stages with different questions and assessments. A substantially different process or extra stages may need a separate quote.

What if I need processes for more than one team?

The foundation project covers one agreed team and one shared process. If other teams need support, we can discuss the work and a custom quote before it begins.

What if we haven’t filled the role after one month?

We can review what remains and agree on another month or a smaller extension. Support does not renew automatically, and a hire or fill date is not guaranteed.

Can we start a different role?

A search continuing from a previous month does not count as a new search. If you want to start another role, we’ll confirm the scope, remaining capacity, and any added fee before the work begins.

What if we need something outside the agreed scope?

We’ll discuss the work and agree on the price in writing before it starts. Extra hours alone do not add another search. If I underestimate the original foundation work, that does not automatically add a fee.
